Local MP Tracy Brabin has organised a public meeting about the future of Lady Anne Crossing, which is situated on Howley Street in Batley.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of Network Rail, and will be an opportunity for members of the public to hear about Network Rail’s progress on their plans to make changes to the crossing. The public will be able to share their views and ideas with them.
The meeting will take place at 10am on Saturday 30th September, at the St Thomas the Apostle Church on Grosvenor Road in Batley and members of the public are invited to attend.
MP for Batley and Spen, Tracy Brabin said:
“I encourage anyone with an interest in the future of Lady Anne Crossing to come along to the public meeting on 30th September.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to come together, and engage with Network Rail who I am clear must involve and work with residents throughout every step of the process.
“Having met with residents who use Lady Anne Crossing, I understand the strength of feeling about the importance of getting any changes to the crossing right.”
