Tracy Brabin has been re-elected to represent Batley & Spen in Parliament, with the largest majority of a Batley constituency since 1966.
Tracy won with 29,844 votes, which is 55.5% of the vote.
Speaking after the election count, MP for Batley and Spen, Tracy Brabin said:
“It’s an honour to have been re-elected to represent Batley & Spen. This constituency is my home and I care deeply about the communities and people that I represent.
“My thanks go to everyone who placed their trust in me to be a strong voice for our community- standing up for our hospital and speaking out on cuts to education.
“Whether you voted for me or not, I will be on your side, sighting your corner. As your MP, I’m here for you.”
